Try to Remember the Times of September

This is a post I wrote in 2006, five years after 9/11

Just some random memories.  Nothing special.  A remarkable day in the nation’s history when we pulled together.  Ordinary people stepped up to do extraordinary things.

What I’ll never forget is the bright blue sky that day.  Just like today.

Uncanny.

    they replayed the “Live’ NBC broadcast today …. and listening to the commentators talking about the “fire’ in one of the world trade buildings as they then watched another plane hit the second tower and it started to sink in what was really happening…. as they struggled to continue the reporting…
