An objective analysis, I think. 

As a friend of the Governor and his wife for the past eight years, I'm excited to hear his name discussed at national levels.  You won't meet a nicer guy in this business.  I'd love to see him get it. 

As a State Senator sitting in a narrow Democratic majority in Richmond ...  what can you say?
