Victory for Obama
I rarely post on national politics. In fact, I only switched over to CNN last night because there was a TV break in the Orange Bowl.
Having said that ...
Senator Barack Obama is a great speaker. He hit all the right notes in his victory address: unity, hope, America. He has a gift for using words to inspire people. I noted that when I heard him speak at George Mason and at the JJ Dinner last year. He is speaking to a larger audience than the others, which is why he's getting more votes.
He's on to NH. I'm heading to Richmond. This weekend, I will start posting about my new bills from "Virginia 2.0". Everything must be prefiled by Wednesday, so we're working hard to put things in final. Would like to get feedback (positive or negative), once we unveil our legislative package.
2008 could be an historic year.

Thanks so much for speaking at our graduation Chap. We were thrilled you joined us for this incredible occassion. We are looking forward to a future of great legislation for our kids with your help in the DAUDLIDD Process. I am so glad I opened the door that faithful summer day and that you were so interested in making a difference for families in Virginia.
Respectfully,
Shannon McGrail
