Dear Mr. Don Upson

Mr. Don Upson
CEO, ICG Government Consulting
Tysons Corner, VA

Dear Mr. Upson:

I understand from the news that your firm offers a position as “consulting executive” with annual compensation in the amount of $80K for working at home approximately 10 hours a week.  I can’t tell you how relieved I am to hear that.

I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and American University law school.  I have practiced law for 10 years and have a license in Virginia.  I also have three young children at home which prevents me from working a full-time schedule, especially during summers.  Working part-time at home (10 hrs a week) is perfect.

You’ll be pleased to know that I have my own cell phone.  Perfect for making calls without the expense of buying a desk.  I also have a computer with a DSL connection, if that matters.

Finally, I am not a member of any elected body, so my employment will violate no ethical rules.  Not sure if you care — but thought you might like to know.

I am very excited about this opportunity as my family needs money.  My husband is a lawyer who is always doing something in the community that does not bring in income.

When can I start?

Sincerely,
Sharon Kim Petersen
